About our privacy policy

WOLFF Outdoor values your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the related services of WOLFF Outdoor. The effective date of these terms is 30/04/2018; by publishing a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy explains which data about you we collect, what we use it for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and which rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

Webshop software

WooCommerce
Our webshop is developed with WooCommerce software. Personal data you provide for the purpose of our services is shared with this party.

Web hosting

Savvii
We use hosting and email services from Savvii. Savvii processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. They may collect metadata about the use of the services; this is not personal data. Savvii has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. They are bound by confidentiality under our agreement.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp
We send newsletters via MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent through our website, you will find an “unsubscribe” link. If you click this, you will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies to determine whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and may share information with third parties in that context.

Mijn Webhost & Savvii
For our regular business email traffic, we use the services of Mijn Webhost and Savvii. Both parties have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss, and corruption of data. They do not have access to our inbox, and we treat all email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Mollie
We use Mollie’s platform to handle payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address, residence details, and payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate measures to protect your data and may use anonymized data for service improvement. Mollie does not store your data longer than legally allowed.

Reviews

WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews via WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so we can link your review to your order. They may publish your name and place of residence on their website. WebwinkelKeur may also contact you for clarification of your review.

Shipping and logistics

DPD
When you place an order, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use DPD’s services for this purpose. We share your name, address, and residence details with DPD, who only uses this data for delivery purposes.

External sales channels

Bol.com & Marktplaats.nl
We sell part of our products via Bol.com and Marktplaats.nl. When you place an order through these platforms, they share your order and personal data with us. We handle this data confidentially and protect it against misuse and unauthorized access.

Purpose of data processing

  • General purpose: We only use your data for our services, directly related to the assignment you provide.

  • No targeted marketing without explicit permission.

  • Third parties: Data is only shared if necessary for administrative/legal obligations.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website (e.g., IP address, browser, operating system) is used to improve our services. These are not personal data.

Legal obligations

In certain cases, WOLFF Outdoor may be required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations. Where possible, we will resist such requests within legal boundaries.

Retention periods

We store your data for as long as you are a client. If you indicate you no longer wish to use our services, we will treat this as a request for erasure. However, we must retain invoices with personal data as required by law.
