How to clean?

To maintain the beauty of your Sunbrella® fabric, spills should be blotted immediately rather than rubbed. For routine care, apply a gentle solution of mild soap and lukewarm water, working seam-to-seam with a soft brush before rinsing thoroughly and allowing to air-dry. Removable covers may be hand- or machine-washed on a delicate cycle using cold water, while non-removable covers can be cleaned in place with the same soap solution. For stubborn stains or mildew, a mix of mild soap and bleach may be applied, followed by thorough rinsing to preserve the fabric’s integrity. Always allow the fabric to air-dry completely, avoiding any heat or steam. After deep cleaning, reapply a water-repellent treatment to restore its protective finish.

Is it waterproof?

Sunbrella® performance fabrics are engineered to be water-repellent, not fully waterproof. The tightly woven fibers and protective finish resist moisture, allowing light rain or spills to bead on the surface for easy cleaning. When paired with Quick Dry Foam™, the interior dries rapidly should water penetrate, ensuring lasting comfort and freshness. For prolonged exposure to heavy rain, we recommend storing the piece in a covered area or using a protective cover to preserve its beauty. This balance of breathability and water resistance keeps the fabric comfortable in all climates while safeguarding against mold and mildew.

Can it be used indoors?

Absolutely! Sunbrella® performance fabrics are purpose-built for outdoor living. Resistant to UV rays, fading, stains, and moisture, they maintain their beauty and integrity even under constant sun exposure. Paired with Quick Dry Foam™, the design ensures rapid drying and year-round comfort, rain or shine. Durable, breathable, and easy to maintain, it’s perfectly suited for terraces, gardens, poolside areas, or any outdoor retreat. This combination of resilience and refined style makes it as functional in the open air as it is elegant indoors.
